As believers in God, our primary mission is to extend a helping hand to individuals struggling with addiction. While our faith plays a vital role in our approach, our foremost goal is to provide support, assistance and fellowship to those seeking recovery. We believe that by relying on the character of God, we can offer a safe and compassionate space for individuals to get the help they need to overcome their dependencies and find community.

Steps in the Light Outreach

Meetings

Tuesdays at 7:00 pm

Tuesday night is our anonymous style meeting. We use the Life Recovery Bible and go through the 12 Steps.  All are welcome!

Thursdays at 7:00 pm

Thursdays we dive deeper into Life Recovery style books in an in-depth study of our recovery and God's way of strengthening us.

Fellowship Events

Having fun while sober is not only possible but can also lead to more meaningful and memorable experiences.  Join us for our upcoming fellowship events to meet fellow people in recovery and become a part of a fun and supportive community.

Camping/Retreats

Steps in the Light hosts two annual trips for people in recovery and their families to provide fellowship and relaxation away from the demands of daily life.

Our winter retreat often takes place in a cabin in northern Arizona where we enjoy snow, food, games and outdoor activities.  Our summer destination changes each year but often involves fishing or swimming, off-roading and nightly campfires.

Off-Roading

Off-roading in Arizona is an amazing experience.  Whether you're into sand dunes, rocky trails, or rugged desert landscapes, Arizona has something to offer.   Steps in the Light often hosts offroading trips to get away and make memories while exploring the outdoors and getting a good dose of adrenaline.
